Aperture Studios will be running a fashion photography workshop on Saturday the 16th of January 2010. The workshop will be conducted by two of Australia's best emerging fashion photographers Mikael Wardhana and Jaclyn Adams. The workshop will take you from pre-production right through to post production. The aim is to give participants the knowledge to bring together the right resources and techniques to produce a professional portfolio.

Projections 2009 will be showcasing a series of new works from 15 of Australias top emerging photographers in a dazzling high definition multimedia presentation on 30 foot high screens this May. This stunning culmination of the 2009 Projections photography competition ensures that the winners will be recognized by the creative and photographic industries as well as the public as Australias best emerging photographic talent. Bounce is a regular meeting designed to be an informal ideas exchange for students, assistants and emerging photographers. It is primarily aimed at Trampoline members but is open to any “emerging photographer.”
This month speakers Chris Polack and Jason Ferridge. Chris started photography 8 years ago and started working freelance 7 years ago in the field of BMX alongside working in the Film industry for Panavision where I learnt entirely on film about exposures, lighting etc Chris temporarily lived overseas, shooting for Euorpean BMX magazines and travelled on expenses paid road trips documenting the BMX lifestyle. Jason is a forensic data specialist with Victoria Police. His specialty is recovering data from hard drives and data storage media.
