Studio Hire

Aperture Studios is a purpose built photographic hire facility featuring a large 150 sq/m of studio space, which is available in 3 different configurations. For extra convenience we hire out a range of photographic studio lighting equipment including cameras and lenses.

Studio A + B

Is the ultimate configuration, allowing the photographer to use the entire 150 sq/m (15m x 10m) of floor space available at Aperture Studios. The space has been designed to used as both a 'white' (High Key) studio and as a 'black' (low key) studio.

Studio A

Studio A is a 100 sq/m space with an 8m wide cyclorama. Designed to function as both a 'White' (high key) studio and a 'Black' (low key) studio.

 

Features:

      • 10m x 10m Shooting Space.
      • 5.5m high Ceiling (at highest point).
      • 8m (wide) x 6m (long) x 4m (high) Single Wall Cyclorama.
      • White Walls, Blackout Capability with Black Sliding Curtains.
      • Polished Concrete Floor.
      • Reverse Cycle Air Con/Heating

Studio B

Studio B is a 45 sq/m space, perfect for detail work and product photography.

 

Features:

      • 9m x 5m Shooting Space.
      • 5.5m High Ceiling (at highest point).
      • Paper/Cloth Roll Background.
      • White Walls, Blackout Capability with Black Sliding Curtains.
      • Polished Concrete Floor.
      • Reverse Cycle Air Con/Heating.

      • Large Polystyrene Boards (black on one side)
      • 10kg Shot Bags
      • Large and Small Trestle Tables
      • Black Cloth 8m x 8m

Students and photographers undertaking Folio (non-commercial) work are entitled to a 50% discount on Studio Hire Rates. A 50% discount also applies to Equipment Rental if booked along with Studio Hire. *Discount is not applicable to Studio B on Saturday and Sunday

 

Regular Hirers (Commercial) who hire a Studio receive a 20% discount off all Equipment Rental Items.
